Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Sports Coach for a specialist high school in Ashton, Greater Manchester. The role involves supporting children aged 11-16 with significant learning difficulties in PE and outdoor activities. The ideal candidate will possess nurturing qualities and adapt well to children's diverse needs, ideally with prior experience in educational settings.
Prospero Teaching are recruiting for a Sports Coach to work at a specialist High school in Ashton, Greater Manchester.
The school is for children aged 11-16 years old with moderate and complex learning difficulties, ASD and those with trauma informed behavioural difficulties. Students attending receive a tailored curriculum best suited to their needs and ability and the school offers a fantastic approach to learning.
The role of a sports coach will be to assist the teachers in PE & outdoor activities, Horticulture and class excursions. You may have the responsibility of taking small groups and planning sessions for those groups. Alternatively, you may be asked to support students within the classroom settings too.
