GBP90 - GBP100 per day (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

I am delighted to be working with a high-achieving school in Brentwood who are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Sports Coach. Our partnering Secondary school is seeking Sports Coach to support students in the absence of the class teacher and successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on daily supply or in longer fixed term supply contracts.

As a Sports Coach will be responsible for leading lessons in Physical Education in the Sports Centre. The school is looking for individuals who have a passion for PE and Sports and is able to manage a class of up to 30 students at one time with a good knowledge of Sports Coaching and Physical Education. You will be responsible for whole class teaching, but lessons will be prepared in advance for you.

This Sports Coach role offers flexibility, professional development, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' educational experiences. No prior experience working within a school is required, as we offer a Trainee Cover Supervisor Course to prepare you for the role.

Requirements

The desired Sports Coach will have:

- A degree in Sports Science or relevant coaching qualifications.

- Determination and resilience.

- Coaching or mentoring experience in a sports setting.

- Leadership skills and confidence to lead a class in the absence of a class teacher.

- A passion for education and providing the highest possible level of support to young people.
