Contract Type: Temporary
Dates: September 2025 - January 2026

Hours: Split Shift, Monday to Friday:

• Mornings: 7:00 AM - 9:45 AM (at School Site 1)
• Afternoons: 1:30 PM - 5:30 PM (at School Site 2)

Are you an experienced and proactive Site Supervisor looking for a rewarding temporary role within a supportive educational environment?

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and reliable School Site Supervisor to manage the facilities and grounds across two vibrant primary schools in Blackpool. This role requires a dynamic individual who can efficiently manage time between two locations, ensuring smooth and safe operation of both sites.

The Role: Each day begins at the first school site in the mornings, with essential opening duties and checks. In the afternoons, you will transition to the second site to manage closing procedures and tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gate Management: Opening the school gates in the morning, being present for duty, and ensuring they are securely locked at closing time.
• Milk Distribution: Distributing milk to classrooms each morning.
• Site Checks: Conducting regular visual inspections of the premises, completing required forms.
• Furniture Movement: Assisting with moving furniture for various activities or events.
• Maintenance & Cleaning Support: Performing light maintenance and supporting cleaning staff.
• Waste Management: Disposing of rubbish and recycling from classrooms each evening.
• Site Upkeep: Contributing to the overall security, safety, and maintenance of the school buildings and grounds.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience as a School Caretaker, Site Supervisor, or similar role.
• Is highly organized, reliable, and able to work independently.
• Possesses excellent practical skills and knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Can communicate effectively with staff, pupils, and visitors.
• Has a valid UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle (desirable due to split site).
