Hays Education is pleased to offer a permanent School Site Manager position in St Leonards-On-Sea. This full-time role offers a salary range of £30,559 to £37,938 per annum.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee daily maintenance and operation of school buildings, grounds, and equipment.
  2. Ensure premises are safe, clean, and well-maintained.
  3. Supervise the site team, including cleaners, caretakers, and contractors.
  4. Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify safety and maintenance issues.
  5. Coordinate repairs and maintenance to minimise disruption.
  6. Manage security systems such as alarms, CCTV, and access controls.
  7. Liaise with external contractors and suppliers to ensure quality service.
  8. Maintain records of maintenance activities, safety checks, and compliance documentation.
  9. Support the school during emergencies, including fire drills and evacuations.
  10. Assist with setup and breakdown of school events and activities.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in an educational environment.
