Overview

Interaction Education are pleased to be working alongside a lovely school in Milton Keynes in their search for a School Site Manager, with a view to going permanent after a period of 12 weeks temporary.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the general upkeep of the school grounds, buildings, and facilities, including cleaning, repairs, and routine maintenance.
  • Ensure that health and safety standards are met across the site.
  • Carry out minor repairs, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
  • Liaise with contractors and external suppliers for larger maintenance projects.
  • Ensure all security systems are functioning and manage site security protocols, including locking/unlocking the school premises.
  • Coordinate site-related health and safety risk assessments and maintain records.
  • Assist with event setup and logistical support as required by the school.
  • Provide general support to the school's administration and teaching staff in relation to site needs.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in facilities management or a similar maintenance role, ideally in a school environment.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and site management.
  • Strong practical skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work.
  • DBS check required.
