Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. seeks an experienced Site Supervisor in Blackburn to manage maintaining the school site. This full-time, all-year role runs 8:00am–4:00pm, Monday to Friday, with an initial 12-week temporary period before potential permanency.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on painting and decorating, repairs, and general maintenance experience, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Experience in painting and decorating in a school or commercial setting.
• Proven ability to carry out general repairs and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of health and safety practices in a scholastic environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general repairs and maintenance across the school site.
• Paint and decorate as required to keep premises well-presented.
• Conduct routine site inspections and report issues promptly.
• Ensure premises are safe, secure and welcoming for students and staff.
• Liaise with contractors and support site operations when needed.
