Shaftesbury High School in London is seeking a conscientious Site Caretaker/Premises Manager to ensure the smooth running and upkeep of the school buildings in London. The role combines hands-on maintenance with project management to support learning environments and maximise building usage.

You will work closely with the Headteacher, provide guidance on building development, and lead on the school's Health & Safety activities, including liaison with external contractors and DBS checks.

Qualificações

• Experience in general maintenance and minor DIY repairs.
• Able to plan and manage building works as required by the Headteacher.
• Strong organisation and initiative for school environment.
• Awareness of health and safety in a school setting.
• Enhanced DBS checks and reference checks required.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure building statutory compliance.
• Plan and investigate of new works, as required by the Headteacher.
• Work closely with the Headteacher and provide advice on new works.
• Project management of new works.
• Development and management of new/existing works to maximise building usage and generate income.
• Liaise with external agents over new/existing works or building developments.
• Play a crucial role in Health & Safety Team and liaise with external agencies and contractors.
• Lead on the school site as a positive environment.
