The Role

As the Safeguarding Administrator, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and effective running of the school’s safeguarding processes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the safeguarding inbox, ensuring timely responses and clear communication.
  • Overseeing the school’s filtering and monitoring system, allocating detentions when required.
  • Attending safeguarding meetings, including TAFs and professional strategy discussions.
  • Conducting pastoral check‑ins with vulnerable students.
  • Making external agency referrals under the direction of the DSL.
  • Coordinating social worker visits and supporting wider pastoral operations.
  • Assisting with morning registration and supporting late‑arriving students.
