Job Overview

Forrest Recruitment LTD are currently seeking to employ a welcoming & experienced School Receptionist who will be the first point of contact for the school. If you enjoy working in a busy, friendly environment – this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Temporary role – Ongoing

Enhanced DBS Essential for this position, please do not apply if you do not have one!

• Greet visitors, parents, and students in a warm and professional manner
• Answer and manage incoming calls and emails efficiently
• Maintain the reception area and ensure it is tidy and welcoming
• Support with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, photocopying, and sending correspondence
• Assist with managing attendance records and pupil data
• Logging & passing on student absence calls
• Handle deliveries and distribute post
• Ensure safeguarding protocols are always followed, including visitor sign-in procedures
• Support staff with general office tasks as needed

What we’re Looking For:

• Friendly, approachable manner with excellent communication skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confident using Microsoft Office and basic IT systems
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
• A positive attitude and a team player
• Enhanced DBS – Essential
