School Receptionist | Horsham | £23,000 - £25,000 per annum | Full-Time | Permanent

This school is seeking a friendly and organised School Receptionist to join their team. As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and students, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:Front-of-House

  • Manage the school reception area, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
  • Greet visitors, parents, and students, providing assistance and direction.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage correspondence.

Administration

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including student and staff information.
  • Manage school databases, filing systems, and other administrative tasks.
  • Prepare and distribute reports, newsletters, and other materials.

Communication

  • Liaise with parents, staff, and external agencies, providing information and support.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with the school community.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a reception or administrative role, preferably in a school or educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other administrative software and systems such as SIMS.
