School Receptionist, Grade 3, Part Time
This is a fixed-term position until 31 August 2026, with the possibility of extension subject to funding and/or business needs.
08:00 - 12:00 4 days a week, 16 hours
Lliswerry High School is a thriving, multi-cultural, 11-18 mixed comprehensive school on the eastern side of Newport close to the M4. We currently have an exciting opportunity to join us as a receptionist based in our school office.
Working with the office team you will be an enthusiastic and committed individual who will be the first point of contact for all visitors to school. The role is part-time, working Monday to Thursday. While some flexibility can be offered across these days, Tuesdays are a required working day.
The successful candidate will be:-

• Well organised and punctual with a professional attitude to work
• Willing to work as part of a hard-working, dedicated team
• Positive, proactive, with a good sense of humour who is willing to work flexibly to meet the changing needs of the school
• Be an active member of school life and actively subscribe to the ethos of the school
Holidays must be taken during school closure periods. The appointment process will involve an interview with members of the school leadership team and a selection of Governors.
