Job description

A School Receptionist is needed in a Mixed Secondary School and Sixth Form in South West London. This School Receptionist position will be full time and long term with scope to go permanent.

Working days and hours for this School Receptionist post will be Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, Term Time Only (plus 2 weeks).

Key responsibilities for this School Receptionist role will include but not be limited to:

• Greet/welcome visitors, staff, parents and pupils with a friendly demeanour
• Handle incoming calls and emails to direct them to the right members of the team
• Assist with general administrative tasks (data entry, scanning and photocopying)

The salary for this School Receptionist role will be between GBP28143 and GBP29843, subject to pro rata, depending on the qualifications and experience of each applicant.

About the School

An Ofsted rated Outstanding Free School and Sixth Form, located in the London Borough of Wandsworth. Having opened in 2012 the school is now fully subscribed with 800 places for pupils aged 11 to 18 year olds.

The school is built on the landmark site of a former hospital and continues its tradition of service to the local community. The building is also able to operate as a doctors surgery for local families.

The listed building has been fully refurbished and modernised to provide excellent learning facilities yet still preserves the buildings historic features.
