Job summary

Ash Green Primary Academy is seeking a dedicated Premises Manager to oversee the day-to-day management, maintenance, security and operation of the school’s premises. You will ensure a safe, clean and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, visitors and the wider school community.

Working with the Academy Business Manager and senior staff, you will coordinate health and safety compliance, arrange inspections and maintenance, and manage contractors to support the school’s premises and estates

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the effective day-to-day management, maintenance, security and operation of the school premises.
• Ensure the buildings, grounds and facilities provide a safe, secure, clean and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, visitors and the wider school community.
• Take an active role in premises-related health and safety and statutory compliance, ensuring inspections, checks, testing and maintenance are completed within the required timescales and that appropriate records are maintained.
• Work closely with the Academy Business Manager and other senior staff to identify premises issues, manage contractors and support the effective delivery of the school's premises and estates responsibilities.
