Job summary

Sponne School in Towcester is seeking an Assistant Site Supervisor to join our Site/Premises Team. The role involves setting up for assemblies and the school day, transporting furniture, outdoor grounds work, general site duties and decorating, along with training and health and safety responsibilities.

The successful candidate will be physically fit, reliable, and able to work flexibly within a busy school environment; be prepared for a DBS disclosure and live/work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Be physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks.
• Have an understanding of health and safety requirements.
• Work flexibly as part of an established premises team.
• Must live and work in the UK and be eligible for a DBS disclosure.

Responsibilities

• Set up for assemblies and the school day.
• Porterage of furniture and assisting with decorating.
• Outdoor grounds works and general site duties.
• Undertake training and be responsible for one area of health and safety checks.
