Job summary

St James School seeks a proactive Site Manager to lead premises management, ensuring a safe, secure and well‑maintained environment for staff and pupils. You will coordinate site staff, manage maintenance schedules and budget priorities (£125k), and work with the Business Manager and Headteacher to develop asset management plans.

This role requires experience in health and safety, risk assessments, and collaboration with external contractors, Diocesan partners, and school leadership to uphold

Qualifications

• Experience in premises management within a school setting.
• Strong understanding of health and safety policies and risk assessments.
• Ability to manage budgets, contracts and a team of site staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all premises-related matters across the school.
• Plan and manage maintenance schedules, budgets and procurement for site facilities.
• Coordinate site staff and contractor activities to ensure timely, compliant delivery.
• Develop and review asset management plans in collaboration with SBM and Headteacher.
