James Wolfe Primary School and Centre for the Deaf is seeking a motivated Premises Assistant to join our site team. This role is varied and physical, spanning routine maintenance, deliveries, and building security across both campuses under the Premises Leader.

You will perform DIY tasks (painting, shelving, hooks), assist with playground upkeep, and handle opening/closing, cleaning in emergencies, and seasonal gritting.

Formación

• Handy DIY skills including basic carpentry, plumbing, decoration, or gardening.
• Ability to work independently and manage time safely.
• Excellent communication with staff, parents, visitors and pupils.

• Paint and basic carpentry tasks (putting up shelves, hooks).
• Receive deliveries and manage stock on site.
• Maintain playground areas and outdoor spaces.
• Open/lock buildings and secure premises.
