Overview

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Liverpool to assist with the appointment of a School Organisation Manager on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at client's discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £27.14- £36.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the council's Pupil Place Planning Strategy and Home to School Transport Policy to meet statutory duties.
  • Ensure Children's Services exercises its strategic planning functions for school places according to relevant legislation, guidance, and council processes.
  • Ensure timely submission of all relevant statutory returns and reports, including the annual School Capacity Assessment Return (SCAP), which determines the authority's Basic Need Funding allocation.
  • Manage the use of MapInfo GIS programme, ensuring the integrity of all necessary data for functional and efficient usage.
  • Lead and co-ordinate the local authority's duties relating to academy conversions, ensuring all statutory duties are fulfilled.
Essentials
  • Graduate status or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a similar role with a strong track record of delivering statutory functions
  • Experience of interpreting and forecasting from raw data.
  • Experience of using GIS Software, MapInfo Software, Collect database, Capita One, and Microsoft Packages.
