About This Role
  • Hours of work: To be agreed - 22.5-30 hours per week
  • Working pattern: Monday to Friday
  • Term weeks: 38 + 2 weeks school closure, minimum paid week 46.6

Although the job title is 'Administration Assistant', this does not fully encompass the role. You will need to be excellent at multi-tasking, adept at prioritising, and comfortable with handling interruptions and matters as they arise. Your responsibilities will include supporting children, staff, or parents, answering phones, ordering lunch, and writing a school newsletter. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and are willing to go above and beyond, this could be the perfect role for you.

As a School Administrator, you will be central to our school community. Effective communication and good relationships with all stakeholders are essential. Maintaining professionalism and upholding the school’s values are key.

Experience working in a school office and knowledge of packages like ParentPay & Arbor/SIMs is desirable but not essential. You should have a good telephone manner, proficient ICT skills, and excellent English language, spelling, and grammar.
