Job description

Falmouth Public Schools is seeking a Food Service Worker for a position in the High School cafeteria to serve students and staff nutritious and appealing meals in a sanitary and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing, cooking or baking throughout the day.
  • Operate the Point of Sales Register.
  • Assist with lunch service.
  • Assist with daily clean up and dish washing.
  • Other duties/responsibilities as assigned by the kitchen manager.

Qualifications:

  • Good customer service skills.
  • Ability to work quickly and independently and as a team member in a fast pace high school environment.
  • Ability to plan ahead, multi-task.
  • Sanitation training or willing to attend training.
  • Good math and computer skills.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs.

Compensation:

The starting hourly rate for this position is dependent on experience. Scale range is $20.02 - $24.84 per hour. Position includes 100% District-paid single health, dental insurance and other benefits (leave time, employer-match retirement). An approved district-run background check is required.
