A school nurse is required in a Ofsted 'Good' School based in Chislehurst until the end of the academic year at the minimun.

Are you a compassionate, qualified nurse looking to make a difference in young lives?
This secondary school is seeking a dedicated School Nurse to join our vibrant and caring school community. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the health and wellbeing of our students in a rewarding and dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day health care and first aid to students and staff.
  • Manage and administer medication and health care plans.
  • Respond promptly to accidents and emergencies on campus.
  • Support the delivery of health education and promote healthy lifestyles.
  • Maintain accurate medical records in line with safeguarding and confidentiality policies.
  • Liaise with parents, staff, and external medical professionals as needed.


Registered Nurse

  • First Aid trained - must hold at least a Level 1 First Aid qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly with children and adolescents.
  • Ability to work independently and handle sensitive situations calmly and professionally.
  • Previous experience in a school or child-focused environment is desirable but not essential.
