Job summary

Great Marlow School is seeking a committed First Aider/School Nurse to join our safeguarding and welfare team. The post covers Wednesday and Friday sessions from 08:00 to 16:00 during term-time.

This role is paid at NJC Scale 4 Points 17–21 (£32,046–£34,237 FTE) with actual salary dependent on experience. We value wellbeing, professional development and a supportive school community; benefits include onsite parking, pension scheme and cycle-to-work options.

Qualifications

• First Aid Trained and Qualified person.
• Qualified Nurse desirable.
• Commitment to the Health, Welfare and Safety of all students and staff.
• Strong communication skills—written and verbal.
• Calm under pressure, adaptable and approachable.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and health support to students and staff.
• Promote wellbeing and safety across the school.
• Liaise with staff and external health services as required.
