A public health service provider is seeking a permanent School Nurse in Kilmarnock. The role requires a First Level Registered Nurse or a qualified Specialist Community Public Health Nurse. You will work collaboratively in a caring environment, focusing on improving outcomes for children and young people. This full-time position involves 37 hours per week, and a valid UK Driving Licence is essential.

Qualifications

  • Current experience working with Children and Young People is desirable.
  • Must be a qualified Specialist Community Public Health Nurse or Registered Nurse willing to undertake the SCPHN course.

Position:

An opportunity has arisen for a permanent School Nurse based at Central Clinic, Kilmarnock.

What you will do:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) Schools or a Registered Nurse or Midwife at degree level who would be willing to undertake the SCPHN course to join the School Nursing Service within East Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership based in Kilmarnock

Current experience working with Children and Young People and working in multidisciplinary teams is desirable but not essential. You will be well organised, have excellent communication skills and be passionate about improving outcomes for our children and young people

Educated to degree level

Working at Masters level
