A prestigious educational institution in the UK seeks a full-time registered nurse to oversee the medical centre, ensuring the physical and emotional wellbeing of pupils. The role involves day-to-day nursing care, managing treatment plans, and collaborating with parents and staff. Due to the post-holder retiring, this is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse with active NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) to run our Medical Centre.
This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday inclusive during term time. Some weekend working required for events and dates will be notified in advance.
This role would suit a candidate with experience in paediatric, school or community nursing and the clinical judgement to work independently within a school based medical setting. You will be supporting pupils’ physical and emotional wellbeing across our busy school. The role includes day-to-day nursing care, managing treatment plans, administering medication, liaising with parents, staff and medical professionals, and contributing to safeguarding and health education.
