Job description

Overview

Benenden School is looking for a qualified Nurse to join our thriving Medical Centre team. As a School Nurse, you will provide nursing cover in the Medical Centre, working a 12-hour shift pattern covering day, evening, overnight and some weekends.

Responsibilities

You will be a qualified Registered Nurse, who has excellent nursing skills, is empathetic to teenage needs, possesses good administrative and IT skills, and is an enthusiastic team member. Some A&E, school nurse or practice nurse experience is beneficial, but is not essential.

The position is for 108 hours over 3 weeks, with additional duty hours available. Flexibility is an essential requirement of this role, as you will be required to work up to three shifts at the beginning and end of each new term.
