Tradewind Recruitment is working with a multi-form entry primary school in Alum Rock that is seeking a full-time School Nurse to start in September 2025.

Position Details:

  • Monday to Friday, 8.30 am - 3.45 pm, for the full academic year starting September 2025
  • Pay is pro-rata, term-time only

Requirements:

  • Hold a Nursing degree with a valid PIN OR have previous experience in a similar medical role with a First Aid qualification

Responsibilities:

  • Promote healthy living and deliver workshops
  • Provide training to teachers on healthcare issues and advise on school health policies
  • Safeguard and promote children's welfare by working with the Senior Leadership Team, Safeguarding Leads, and Social Services in child protection cases
  • Liaise with SEND to write Educational Health Care Plans (EHC)
  • Support children with medical needs such as asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, or mental health issues
  • Perform any other duties as deemed necessary by the Headteacher or Senior Leadership Team
