Job summary

Leicester Grammar School is seeking an enthusiastic, committed Netball Coach to join our team on a self-employed basis during the Spring term. The role involves coaching a Netball squad, developing technical ability, tactical understanding and overall performance while fostering a positive, inclusive sporting environment.

You will assess pupil progress, provide feedback to the Head of Netball, umpire matches, accompany teams to fixtures and ensure safeguarding and Health & Safety standards are

Qualifications

• England Netball Level 1 or 2 coaching qualification.
• Proven track record of successful netball coaching.
• Ability to umpire to a good standard; officiating qualification is a bonus.
• First aid qualification desirable; training may be required.
• Minibus driver qualification is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Coach a Netball squad and develop pupils' technique and tactical understanding.
• Regularly assess pupil progress and provide feedback to the Head of Netball.
• Promote fair play, teamwork, safety and positive attitudes during sessions.
• accompany teams to fixtures and umpire matches to a good standard.
• Ensure safeguarding and Health & Safety policies are followed and that kit/equipment is well maintained.
