Job summary

Landau Forte Academy Amington in Tamworth is seeking a mini-bus driver to support routine transport, home visits and extracurricular activities.

This is a casual contract with a start date in November 2026, offering a salary of £12.71 per hour. The role includes meal allowance, LGPS or TPS, and a Healthcare Cash Plan as part of staff benefits. A supportive environment is provided within the Landau Forte Trust.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Drive the minibus in accordance with the Highway Code and relevant codes of practice to ensure pupil and staff safety.
• Carry out daily visual checks and basic maintenance, arrange service/MOT when needed, and maintain a weekly check.
• Liaise with Escort at journey start to check seat belts and secure belongings; ensure pupils are seated and safe during travel.
• Drive the minibus for school trips, attendance visits, and PE fixtures.
