Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking a reliable School Minibus Driver for Blackpool, starting December 2026. This full-time role involves transporting students safely to school and activities, with a clear temp-to-perm pathway from a temporary arrangement to a permanent contract.

You will perform daily safety checks, ensure punctual travel, and support safeguarding and student welfare on journeys and educational trips. DBS checks are required or can be arranged.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence with D1 entitlement and ideally ≤3 penalty points.
• Experience in minibus/PCV/coach or school transport preferred.
• Enhanced DBS check for working with children (or willingness to undergo).
• Punctual, patient, friendly with strong safeguarding ethic.

Responsibilities

• Transport students safely to and from school and educational events.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and report defects.
• Support safeguarding and comfort of students, including SEN where required.
• Maintain accurate journey logs and comply with policies and health & safety guidelines.
