Job Title: School Mental Health Assistant

Sector: Education and Training

Location: Luton

Pay: £460-£500 per week

Hours: 8:30 - 15:30

This SEN school in Luton is looking for SEN Psychology and Criminology Graduates to become their School Mental Health Assistant, providing first-class support to children with complex social, emotional and mental health needs, ADHD, communication difficulties, Down syndrome, and some speech, language and communication needs.

What is required?
  1. An Undergraduate Degree (preferable) and/or previous SEN experience, ideal for Criminology and Psychology Graduates.
  2. An interest in mental health and Autism.
  3. Knowledge, keen interest, or understanding of the range of different types of learning and behavioural needs (SEMH elements of the provision).
  4. Local commute to Luton.
