Buckler’s Mead Academy in Yeovil is seeking a part-time Media and Marketing Manager to lead the school’s marketing, communications and media strategy. You will oversee the website, digital platforms and the creation of high-quality materials to support recruitment and parental engagement.

The role requires strong literacy, GDPR knowledge, and experience with websites/social media. Flexible hours, term-time plus INSET days, and a supportive team are offered.

• Experience with websites and social media and ability to actively promote the academy.

Responsibilities

• Lead the administration, maintenance and development of the school’s website and digital platforms, ensuring content is accurate, engaging and up to date.
• Manage design and production of marketing materials: prospectus, newsletters, brochures, event signage, aligned with the visual identity.
• Produce timely press releases and content for local media and community.
• Ensure GDPR and data protection compliance for all communications.
• Provide training and support to staff on templates, brand guidelines and communication platforms.
• Embed the academy’s vision and values in communications across stakeholders.
