MIDSOMER NORTON SCHOOLS PARTNERSHIP is seeking School Meals Supervisory Assistants to supervise students during the midday break to ensure safety, welfare and proper conduct.

Responsibilities include supervising dining room entry, assisting with cleaning and setting up furniture, providing basic first aid, and supervising playground areas as required by the Headteacher.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students before, during and after the midday meal.
• Supervise entry into the dining room.
• Assist in clearing tables, wiping surfaces and sweeping floors.
• Assist in setting up and removing dining room furniture.
• Provide minor first aid and summon help for injuries or illness.
• Supervise students in the playground or other areas of the school as required by the Headteacher

Job description

We are seeking to appoint School Meals Supervisory Assistants to support with supervising students during the midday break, so as to ensure the safety and general welfare and proper conduct of the students during this period. Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervision of students immediately before, during and after the midday meal. This includes students who have a school meal as well as students who bring their own food.
• Supervision of students' entry into the dining room.
• Assist as required in clearing tables, wiping them down, sweeping floors.
• Assist in the setting up and removing of furniture in parts of the school, in the dining room, where necessary.
• Taking such steps as are necessary when students are sick, carrying out minor first aid and summoning any assistance needed to deal with injuries or illness.
• To supervise students in the playground, or other areas of the school as required by the Headteacher
