Job summary

Hayesdown First School is seeking a School Meals Supervisory Assistant to supervise and support children at lunchtime, both while they eat and while they play.

You will work alongside another SMSA, setting up and clearing the hall and supervising children inside and outside to ensure a safe, enjoyable lunchtime for all pupils.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is desirable.
• Ability to supervise and support children during lunchtime.
• Willingness to work as part of a small team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children at lunchtime and during play.
• Assist with setting up and clearing the dining hall.
• Supervise indoors and outside areas and support social play.

Job description

We are looking for a School Meals Supervisory Assistant to supervise and support children at lunchtime, both while they eat and while they play.

We are looking for someone who enjoys spending time with children and finds real joy in helping them play and socialise. You will be working alongside another SMSA and be responsible for setting up and clearing up the hall, as well as supervising the children both inside and outside.
