Stowe School is seeking a friendly Maintenance Technician to join the busy estates team. You will support the Head of Estates with general building tasks, carpentry, and site upkeep across the school and its properties, ensuring statutory compliance wherever required.

You should have prior experience in maintenance or estates work and a practical trade background. The role offers a varied, hands-on environment with a strong commitment to safety and service to staff and pupils on site.

Qualifications

• Experience in the maintenance/estates industry or relevant trade skills.
• Carpentry and general building works experience.
• Ability to deliver a first-class and responsive service in a busy school environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Estates and Building Management with routine maintenance tasks.
• Carry out carpentry and general building works as required.
• Support the Foreman and Buildings Maintenance supervision in daily duties.
• Engage with the wider school community with a proactive, professional approach.
