Job summary

St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Multi Academy Trust is seeking a caring Lunchtime Supervisor to join our friendly team. You will help provide a safe, enjoyable lunchtime experience, supervise pupils in the dining hall and play areas, and support wellbeing.

Training will be provided; prior experience with children is welcomed, and we value patience, reliability and the ability to work well with others. The role contributes to our safeguarding commitments and school ethos.

Qualifications

• Experience with children is beneficial but is not essential, as training will be provided.
• Patience, approachable and caring demeanor.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervising pupils in the dining hall, playground and other designated areas.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting the school's values.
• Assisting children during mealtimes where necessary.
• Organising and encouraging safe play activities.
• Supporting pupils' wellbeing and ensuring their safety at all times.
