Job summary

St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Multi Academy Trust is seeking a caring Lunchtime Supervisor to support pupils during lunch periods at St Thomas More Catholic Voluntary Academy in Leicester. You will help ensure a safe, happy, and enjoyable lunchtime experience for all pupils.

Training will be provided; previous experience with children is beneficial but not essential. You will work as part of a supportive team, promoting school values and safeguarding at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is beneficial but not essential; training provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with pupils and staff.
• Commitment to safeguarding and creating a safe lunchtime environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervising pupils in dining hall, playground and other areas.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting school values.
• Assisting children during mealtimes where necessary.
• Organising and encouraging safe play activities.
• Supporting pupils' wellbeing and ensuring their safety at all times.
• Reporting accidents, incidents or concerns per school procedures.
