Job summary

Aspens Services Ltd, a market-leading contract caterer specialising in school food, is seeking a Catering Assistant to support our kitchen in basic food preparation and deliver excellent service during the lunchtime rush.

You will work Monday to Friday during school term time with a 26.25-hour, 2-week rota (07:00–15:00). Training provided; Food Hygiene Level 2 helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or fast-paced service.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Team player in a busy team.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 is helpful, but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Customer interaction on tills during service (training provided).
• Front-line service to students and staff with a friendly manner.
• Assist the team with basic food preparation.
• Maintain a safe, clean kitchen environment and comply with Health & Safety standards.
