Job summary

Aspens Services is seeking a Catering Assistant to support our school kitchen and ensure smooth lunchtime service. You will help with basic food preparation and deliver friendly, efficient service to students and staff.

We offer part-time, term-time hours with a fixed-term maternity cover. Training is provided for tills and service, and a strong emphasis is placed on health and safety in a busy school environment.

Qualifications

• Team player in a busy environment.
• Previous catering or fast-paced service experience.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 is a plus but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Customer interaction on tills during service (training provided).
• Front-line service to students and staff with a friendly, polite approach.
• Assist team with basic food preparation.
• Maintain a safe, clean kitchen and comply with Health & Safety.
