Job summary

Qualiteach Education Group is working with a mainstream Redbridge secondary school to recruit a School Librarian for an immediate start. You will promote a love of reading among students and ensure the library borrowing system runs efficiently, with occasional 1:1 student support.

The school serves 11–16-year-olds and values personalized learning and progression, looking for a flexible team member to enrich the school library and contribute to broader activities.

About the role - School librarian

I am working with this mainstream secondary school in Redbridge who are looking to appoint a school librarian to start with them as soon as possible. The successful School librarian will be required to promote a love of reading amongst students whilst ensuring the library book borrowing system is led and managed efficiently. The ideal candidate will be flexible in their job role while being able to support students on a 1:1 basis from time to time.
