Job summary

Berkeley Scott is recruiting for a School Kitchen Porter in Grantham (NG13) for a September start. You will join a busy school kitchen, washing pots and keeping the area clean while complying with hygiene and safety standards. The role offers weekly pay and a September start in a school-based environment.

Experience in kitchen porter work is desirable; Enhanced DBS, Food Safety Level 2, and Food Allergen certificates are required or obtainable. Two professional references are needed.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS certificate required.
• Food Safety Level 2 certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Food Allergen certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Two professional references.

Responsibilities

• Washing pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, and kitchen equipment.
• Keeping the kitchen clean, tidy, and organised throughout the day.
• Assisting with basic food preparation when required.
• Disposing of waste and recycling in line with site procedures.
• Following food hygiene, allergen, and health & safety regulations at all times.
