Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Kitchen Porter at Notting Hill Prep School in London. You will help keep kitchens clean, support chefs, and ensure equipment and workspaces are ready for service.

The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only, with early-morning shifts. A basic Food Hygiene Certificate and Enhanced DBS are desirable.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitise crockery, cutlery, and kitchen utensils to a ready-for-use state.
• Maintain high cleanliness across back-of-house areas including floors, bins, and storage spaces.
• Assist with cleaning fridges/freezers and safe food storage practices.
• Crush and dispose of cardboard and packaging safely; keep waste areas tidy and compliant.
• Follow health, safety, fire, food hygiene and COSHH regulations and use chemicals correctly.
• Report accidents, near misses, and shortages to the Chef or Supervisor.
