Heron Hall Academy is recruiting a Chef Manager to lead the catering team and oversee the day-to-day running of the kitchen. You will ensure high standards of food preparation, service, hygiene and allergen management for pupils and staff.

Working with the Head of Catering, you will deliver high-quality meals in a safe, clean and efficient kitchen environment. If you are organised, reliable and passionate about delivering excellent catering, we would love to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy kitchen or catering environment.
• Good understanding of food hygiene, food safety and allergen requirements.
• Ability to follow menus, recipes and procedures accurately.
• Organise and prioritise tasks while maintaining cleanliness and high standards.
• Confidently use kitchen equipment and handle safe working practices.
• Remain calm, professional and solution-focused under pressure.
• Clear and respectful communication with pupils and staff.
• Work collaboratively to provide a high-quality catering service.
• Commitment to high-quality food and efficient service for pupils and staff.
• Understanding safeguarding, health and safety, equality and inclusion.
