Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy kitchen, catering or food preparation environment.
• Good understanding of food hygiene, safety and safe working practices.
• Ability to follow menus, recipes and portion requirements accurately.
• Awareness of allergens and ability to meet dietary requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support daily running of the academy kitchen as part of the catering team.
• Prepare and serve food while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
• Ensure meals meet allergy and dietary requirements for pupils and staff.
• Work efficiently in a busy service period and maintain cleanliness across areas.

GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above)
