Chartwells UK is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead a school kitchen, ensuring smooth daily operation and delivering high‑quality meals.

You will manage a team, monitor standards, and work with school leaders to meet the needs of pupils and staff in a term-time role.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of working with food and catering operations.
• Experience leading a team in a similar environment.
• Basic Food Hygiene certificate required.
• Minimum 2 years catering experience.
• Excellent financial acumen and IT literacy.

What You'll Be Doing

As the Kitchen Manager, you’ll be the driving force of the team encouraging the team to deliver great things through leading and monitoring daily activity. You’ll be the one looking after the daily needs of the department, working with other leaders across the business!

You will be working with an amazing team of catering staff that are vibrant and outgoing and are welcoming to guidance and instruction. We are looking for a Kitchen Manager to join our team and continue the success in our business.
