Aramark UK is hiring a Catering Assistant to support the Chef Manager and catering team in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring pupils receive an excellent dining experience.

You will help prepare food, serve meals to primary school children in a friendly and professional manner, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and food presentation. This role values teamwork, reliability and flexible availability.

Responsibilities

• Support the Chef Manager and catering team with daily kitchen operations.
• Assist with preparation of food and ingredients.
• Serve meals to primary school children in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ensure food is presented and served to a high standard.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Assist with washing up and general kitchen housekeeping.
• Follow food hygiene, health and safety, and company procedures.
• Support stock rotation and storage procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service to pupils, staff and visitors.
