Job summary

Hertfordshire Catering Limited is recruiting for a kitchen assistant to support meal preparation and service for children. The role focuses on food hygiene, safety, and efficient kitchen operations within our school catering environment.

The successful candidate will help in receiving deliveries, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering excellent customer service while safeguarding children and upholding company values. Training in food hygiene is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, cooking and serve meals to children.
• Upholding Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Adhering with Health & Safety regulations.
• Receiving, checking, and organising supplier deliveries.
• Carry out washing-up duties, maintain a clean hygienic kitchen and dining area.
• Deliver high-quality customer service.
• Demonstrate good punctuality.
