Job summary
Chartwells on a part-time basis, contracted to 20 hours per week, 43.8 weeks per year, is seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant to be the heart of our operation. You’ll join a team that takes pride in its food, its brand, and especially its people. Shift patterns are Mon-Fri days, with progression opportunities within Compass Group UK&I. We serve education clients across schools and colleges, valuing reliability and teamwork.
Qualifications
Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Willing to undergo DBS checks.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
Preparing delicious, high-quality food.
Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
Ensuring correct use of all machinery and equipment.
Assisting with loading or unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles.
Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image.
Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health & Safety standards.
