Job summary

Berry Recruitment Group is seeking temporary School Catering Staff for primary and secondary schools across the Wirral. If you’re available during school hours, this is a great chance to gain experience while working in a supportive team environment.

Shifts are typically Monday to Friday, 9am–2pm with flexibility. You will prepare, serve and maintain clean kitchens, follow hygiene standards and assist with safeguarding duties, all within a friendly, respectful setting.

Qualifications

• Food service experience or ability to serve meals in a friendly manner.
• Ability to work as part of a busy team.
• Willingness to follow safety and hygiene rules.

Berry Recruitment is hiring temporary School Catering Staff for primary and secondary schools across the Wirral. If you're available during school hours, this is the ideal opportunity for you!

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 2pm (with flexibility)

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and serve food to students and staff
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness (washing up, cleaning)
• Serve food in a friendly, polite manner
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards
• Assist with safeguarding duties

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS clearance (we can help you obtain this for £51)
• Completion of online training for Food Hygiene, Allergen Awareness, Safeguarding, and KCSIE (£10)
