Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a General Kitchen Assistant at The Ridge Primary School in Stourbridge. This term-time, permanent, part-time role pays £12.71 per hour for about 12.5 hours a week across 39 weeks, and offers a stable schedule within a friendly school environment.

You’ll support daily food service, help with preparation and serving, keep kitchen and dining areas hygienic, and follow food safety procedures. A full UK driving license is required, and full training is provided.

Qualifications

• Catering or food service experience is helpful but not essential; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and serving of food and beverages.

• Replenish food displays and service counters as required.
• Support deliveries and store supplies appropriately.
• Follow food hygiene, health and safety procedures.
• Provide a friendly and helpful service to customers, colleagues or visitors.
