The position is 16 hours per week, with a starting ASAP date and a salary of £9,292.62 to £9,438.46 actual salary per year.

Qualifications

• Essential qualifications include a Level 2 or equivalent certificate in Food Hygiene.
• Experience or knowledge of working with food in a kitchen environment is required.
• Essential skills include the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• The Catering Assistant assists in the preparation, cooking, and serving of food, producing high-standard meals on a daily basis.
• Duties include rigorously following food hygiene and cleanliness standards in accordance with health and safety, food hygiene, and COSHH regulations at all times.
• The assistant is responsible for washing dishes, cutlery, containers, and all catering equipment.
• You will clean all catering areas daily to an agreed standard, ensuring they are free from hazards.
• Other tasks include operating as a cashier as required and under supervision, ensuring the safe operation of kitchen equipment, and reporting all accidents or incidents.
