Job summary

Outwood Academy Ormesby is seeking a Catering Assistant to perform a variety of food production tasks and food service in our school kitchens. The role is term-time only, with no weekends, and is ideal for those seeking flexible schedules. You will work 20 hours per week (Mon-Fri) across 38 weeks per year, paid at £12.71 per hour.

An enhanced DBS disclosure will be obtained. ASAP start; initial two-month term with potential extension.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the preparation and service of lunch time meals.
• Complying with Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures.
• Keeping the kitchen, counter and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state.
• Providing a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers.
• Representing Caterlink and maintaining a positive brand image.
